The most debated issue in the world today is the revoking of the Articles 370 and 35A by the Narendra Modi led BJP government and making Jammu and Kashmir and Ladhak as two separate Union territories. Kamal Haasan the leader of the Makkal Needhi Maiam has come out strongly against the move calling it murder of democracy.

Kamal has also pointed out that both Article 370 and 35A have genesis and any change has to be in a consultative manner and has also criticized the attitude of the government to shut opposition by force.

Kamal is currently hosting the 'Bigg Boss 3' and will soon start shooting for his long delayed 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar and costarring Kajal Agarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Aishwarya Rajesh and Siddharth.
