Every year, on July 1, India celebrates National Doctor's Day to express gratitude to the medical professionals for their noble service. This year, the day becomes even more significant considering the fight our frontline warriors are waging against the deadly Coronavirus.

Doctors and physicians have been tirelessly working day and night in the tough times of the Coronavirus pandemic. They're risking their own lives and sacrificing times with their families and are battling the virus by wearing PPE kits and are saving patients.

Actor and Makkal needhi maiam president Kamal Haasan has posted a special doctor's day wish, as he tweeted "When the contagious virus is threatening and keeping us in fear, it is the list of number of people recovered which is serving as a ray of hope. To extend the list, doctors have been working without considering their own protection or their families, and are focusing on serving people, and I thank and wish them on doctor's Day".
