Red Giant Movies teamed up with Lyca Productions earlier and revived 'Indian 2', the magnum opus sequel project of Kamal Haasan and Shankar. The film's shooting is going on in full swing now. Meanwhile, Ulaganayagan broke the internet today by sharing BTS photos from the sets.

Taking to Twitter, Kamal Haasan posted shooting spot images and wrote, "I am standing under the statue of hero Netaji, for the shooting of Indian-2, on the same day that the statue was unveiled by Kalaignar Karunanithi 25 years ago. Great people, great memories." These pictures are now doing rounds on social media.

Recently, it was reported that the makers are filming portions involving Kamal Haasan and Bobby Simha. While the former is reprising the role of the freedom fighter-vigilante Senapathy, the latter is playing a police officer. The team is currently shooting near Marina Beach in Chennai after shooting near an IT park.

Rakul Preet Singh, who plays a pivotal role in Indian 2, earlier revealed that Kamal Haasan is playing a 90-year-old role in this film. Writer Jeyamohan shared in an interview that the sequel will also focus on a new character, Senapathy's father. Ulaganayagan's prosthetics makeup takes 4-5 hours daily and he cannot eat normally after wearing it.
