The National Commission for Women had sent a notice to Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan for mentioning the name of the actress who is a sexual assault victim, in his press meet. Many womenfolk have also criticized Kamal for mentioning the name.

Now Kamal has reacted to the notice in a series of tweets. He has said if women want to apologize he will do as no one is above law. The actor also observed that the women who want him to apologize are penalising the lawyer and missing the criminals.
