Kamal Haasan says what would have happened if MGR was CM during Jallikattu protest

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan who has been actively speaking and reacting about the violence unleashed in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu on Monday in the Police's attempts to end the Jallikattu protests across the state.

In his Twitter handle, Kamal Haasan shared some bold views especially about the Police taking "aggressive" action against passive protesters. He also shared a video in which a police man is seen setting fire for an Auto rickshaw.

Now the veteran multi-talented star is addressing the media in a press meet at his Alwarpet residence. He has been speaking about yesterday's violence. the protests for Jallikattu, the way the state handled it, politics and film industry celebrities' involvement in the protest.

While a section of social media users opined that Chief Minister O.Panneer Selvam should have visited Marina in person and spoke with the protesters to assuage them that Jallikattu will be conducted every, Kamal Haasan said "If MGR had been CM he would have come to the beach".
