As we all know Bollywood star Akshay Kumar will be making his Tamil debut playing the lead villain character in Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming sci-fi entertainer '2.0' directed by Shankar and Produced by Lyca Productions on a humongous budget.
It is no secret that the villain character that is said to be as powerful as the hero's, was initially offered to the Rajinikanth's long time good friend and professional rival Kamal Haasan.
It is being speculated that Kamal did not want to act in a negative character in some other hero's film and that's why he did not take up the offer. But now the multi-talented actor has revealed the real reason now.
During their early days the two doyens of Tamil cinema have acted in several films together and at some point decided to not act in the same film and they will share screen space only in a movie produced by either of them. They have been keeping up this agreement for decades now. The Ulaganayagan said he did not want to break this vow.
The 'Papanasam' star also pointed out that he has acted in negative characters many times in the past and that is definitely not the reason for refusing to act in '2.0'.
