Kamal Haasan has had a busy month celebrating his 65th birthday and his 60th year in cinema which event was graced by Rajinikanth, Ilayaraja, Vadivelu, Vijay Sethupathi and many other industry colleagues. The legend underwent surgery on his leg to remove a titanium rod placed there after a fall in 2016.
After the successful surgery, Kamal returned home from the Apollo hospital in Chennai. Kamal is expected to take rest for a few weeks and will resume shooting of 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar and political work for his Makkal Neethi Maiam party. He is also planning to start his 'Thalaivan Irukkinran' in 2020 which is said to be a politically charged subject that has music by A.R. Rahman and costarring Vadivelu and possibly Vijay Sethupathi.
