Kamal hints about film with Rajini

Kamal Haasan is recouping from surgery to his leg to remove a titanium rod placed due to a dangerous fall he had in 2017. He was seen walking on crutches on his visit to Madras University to support the students protests against CAA and NRC. On Saturday the Ulaganayagan was one of the star attractions at the Zee Cinema Awards and he presented the Most Favorite Director Award to Lokesh Kanagaraj for 'Kaithi'.
Kamal in his speech praised Lokesh stating that he is proud that the young director quotes him as the inspiration and watching 'Kaithi' he felt that it was like he himself directed it. Kamal in his inimitable style hinted that there are bigger things about Lokesh that he will share in the future. People in the know are sure that the stalwart is hinting about the proposed project for his banner Raj Kamal Films International that will have Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Kamal is expected to resume shooting 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar from February first week while Lokesh Kanagaraj is starting the next schedule of 'Master' after Pongal with Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi clashing in a jail set in Chennai. Rajini's 'Darbar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions is hitting the screens worldwide on January 9th.
