Kamal Haasan attends Karnataka new CM swearing in ceremony

The Makkal Needhi Maiam leader Kamal Haasan rushed to Tuticorin to extend his solidarity with the Sterlite protestors after the police firing that killed 11 people. Following that he also took a flight to Bengaluru to attend the swearing in ceremony of Karnataka's new Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy. Kamal also met many famous Indian non-BJP politicians from around the country including Congress chief Rahul Gandhi.

Kamal has shared this note "I thank the CM of Karnataka H.D. Kumaraswamy for inviting me. Hearty congratulations to the new Govt. It’s a good starting point for a dialogue between our States. It was also a platform for a healthy exchange of views with all other party leaders.Curious to see what follows."
