Ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Kamal Haasan on Friday said that his party's election manifesto promises 50 lakh employment opportunities for youth. This comes at a time when the rate of job creation in the country is said to have fallen.
Addressing a rally today, the actor-politician also promised that his party will provide incentives for youth entrepreneurs.
As a party that claims to shape up the education sector, MNM, if voted to power, will raise the standard of government schools to international standards, Kamal promised.
Meanwhile, the Income Tax Dept recently conducted searches at the premises of the actor's party treasurer Chandrasekar in Tirupur. As reported by NDTV today, the searches at the premises linked led to the seizure of unaccounted cash of Rs 11.50 Cr. The report added that the total unaccounted income detected as of Friday is Rs 80 Cr.
Reacting about the raids, Kamal yesterday said that he will react to the raids only after details are out.
