Karthick-Prabhu director remaking 'Papanasam' in Sinhalese

The biggest hit in the history of Malayalam cinema Mohanlal's Drishyam' directed by Jeethu Joseph also became a huge hit in Tamil as Papanasam' with Kamal Haasan reprising Mohanlal's role.

Now Papanasam' is being remade in Sinhalese directed by Cheyaar Ravi a Tamil director who has done Harichandra' with Karthick and Dharma Seelan' with Prabhu apart from many hit serials as well. The film has the popular Sinhalese hero, Jackson Anthony in Kamal Haasan's role and shooting is going on in Sri Lanka right now. Drishyam' has now truly gone global.
