Karthick-Prabhu director remaking 'Papanasam' in Sinhalese

The biggest hit in the history of Malayalam cinema Mohanlal`s Drishyam` directed by Jeethu Joseph also became a huge hit in Tamil as Papanasam` with Kamal Haasan reprising Mohanlal`s role.

Now Papanasam` is being remade in Sinhalese directed by Cheyaar Ravi a Tamil director who has done Harichandra` with Karthick and Dharma Seelan` with Prabhu apart from many hit serials as well. The film has the popular Sinhalese hero, Jackson Anthony in Kamal Haasan`s role and shooting is going on in Sri Lanka right now. Drishyam` has now truly gone global.
