As we all know Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is presently busy shooting 'Sabash Naidu' in which he plays the lead role of the RAW Agent Balram Naidu, the popular character he played in 'Dasavatharam. Kamal is also directing this Tamil, Telugu, Hindi trilingual as Rajeevkumar, the initial choice to direct the film has fallen ill.

The shooting which should have started in mid-May had a delayed start in June but the perfect planning of the production team seems to have made up for the unexpected delay.

Latest update from the 'Papanasam' star about the progress of the films says that 42+ minutes of scenes and a song with Shruthi Haasan in the film have been completed. Here, completed means these portions have been shot and edited in all three languages. The multi-talented veteran has also expressed satisfaction with how these portions have shaped up.

The film has been tiled as 'Sabash Naidu' in Tamil and Telugu while its Hindi title is 'Kundu Raidu'. Ramya Krishnan and Kamal's elder daughter Shruthi Haasan are acting as the lead character's wife and daughter. Brahmmanandam dons the role of the assistant of Balram Naidu while Saurabh Shukla will be seen in the same role in Hindi.

Isaignani Ilaiyaraja is rendering the music score for all the three versions of this project bankrolled by Kamal's Raj Kamal Films International.
