Veteran multi-talented star Kamal Haasan had been vehemently supporting the pro-Jallikattu protest spearheaded by youngsters and students. He has also been expressing his bold opinion on recent political developments in Tamil Nadu and he minces no words in criticizing the corrupt.
Now the versatile star's latest tweets offers support for another campaign of Tamil Nadu environmental activists and youngsters, which has been gradually gathering momentum across the state.
The proposed Hydrocarbon extraction project planned by the Union Govenrment in a Neduvasal near Pudukottai of Tamil Nadu has incurred the wrath of farmers and people. It is feared that the project if implemented will sound the death knell for the farming activity in that locality.
Kamal's has posted a series of tweets against the project which is perceived to be against the environment and the livelihood of poor people. He has also appreciated the Chief Minister of Pondicherry for his clear stand against Hydrocarbon project. He has also shared his admiration for the students of TN who have started protesting for the farmer and people.
