Studio Green owner K.E.Gnanavelraja had complained to the Producers Council that he had shelled out rupees ten crores to Kamal Haasan during the release of 'Uttama Villain' in 2015 and the legendary actor had promised him to act in a new movie for him in return. He had claimed that Kamal had not kept his promise and now had to return the money or sign a movie.
Raj Kamal Fims International had earlier clarified that the agreement was with Linguswamy's Tirupathi Brothers but they did not follow up on a new film. Now the company has sent a strong notice to Gnanavelraja to show proof that Kamal received the said ten crore rupees from him or legal documents that he agreed to do a film. RKFI has also warned civil and criminal action against Gnanavelraja if he fails to do so.
