Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan at the age of 67 is still working round the clock juggling his film, television and political careers admirably. He has also revived his Raaj Kamal Films International and is producing not only his films also those starring other heroes.
RKFI is currently bankrolling 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. The production house has also announced Sivakarthikeyan's 'SK21' directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy and will reportedly start another film with Vikram and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.
Meanwhile we broke the news first to you that Kamal Haasan and Muthaiya of 'Komban' fame are uniting for a new film. It was said that it may be for 'Virumandi 2' the sequel to Kamal's cult classic 'Virumandi 2' released in 2004.
Now we have the update from reliable sources that the Kamal-Muthaiya project is very much confirmed but that it will have a different hero in the lead and it is not 'Virumandi 2'. According to our source the film is an out and out commercial venture that will have Arya as the hero and the official announcement with further details will come in the first week of April.
