India`s most decorated actor, Kamal Haasan is taking rest after surgeries to his leg from a fall a few weeks ago. He is expected to resume work on his trilingual Sabaash Naidu` in November costarring daughter Shruti Haasan and Ramya Krishnan.

A super exciting news that we have for you is that the Ulaganayagan has acquired the remake rights to the latest Mohanlal blockbuster Oppam`directed by Priyadarshan. The character that Mohanlal plays is that of a blind lift operator in a huge apartment. Kamal, who is reprising the role in Tamil will be portraying a blind man after 35 years since his much acclaimed Raja Paarvai` in 1981. It is worth recalling that Kamal delivered a huge hit with the remake of Mohanlal`s Drishyam` as Papanasam` last year. Official confirmation is expected soon.
