A news that started trending worldwide the minute it leaked out was the announcement about Kamal Haasan and Shankar reuniting for sequel of the universal blockbuster 'Indian2'.  The project becomes all the more significant as Kamal is on the verge of entering politics and the film about the freedom fighter turned super hero will cause a huge sensation among younger audiences that the original did twenty one years back.

'Indian 2' was supposed to be produced by popular Tollywood producer Dil Raju but the latest buzz is that due to the budget skyrocketing he has backed out of the project.  The sources claim that Lyca Productions have entered the fray now and the news does hold credence as they are behing Shankar's upcoming bonanza '2.0' starring Superstar Rajinikanth.  We will have to wait for official word on this one.
