Kamal Haasan's new movie has been announced. It will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and is titled 'Evanendru Ninaithai' in Tamil. A mass poster has accompanied the announcement with Kamal's figure created with ammunition. The caption "Once Upon A Time There Lived a Ghost' raises curiosity.

Music is by Anirudh Ravichander. The film will hit the screens in September 2021. "Another journey begins," Kamal said, plugging the announcement poster.

Lokesh Kanagaraj of 'Maanagaram' and Karthi's 'Khaidi' fame currently awaits the release of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master'. He will also be directing Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Thalaivar 169', which will be produced by Kamal Haasan. This film was supposed to go on the floors by now. However, because of the pandemic, Rajini recently decided to defer it. Therefore, Kamal decided to collaborate with Lokesh on a new film in the meantime.
