Director Singeetam Sreenivasa Rao has been known for directing some of the most memorable movies starring Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan, like Aboorva Sagotharargal, Michael Madana Kama Rajan, Pesum Padam, Raja Parvai etc and most of them were big blockbusters as well.

The classic maker had last directed Mumbai Express starring Kamal Haasan in 2005, and is now returning to Tamil after more than a decade. Singeetam Srinivasa Rao has teamed up with web content platform Sony Liv, for a web series, which will be scripted by him.

This yet to be titled series will be directed by Badri Venkatesh, who is known for directing Atharva Murali and Samantha's debut movie Baana Kaathadi and also directed the Atharva starrer Semma Botha Aagathe last year. More details on this web series and the cast and crew are awaited.
