It's known that Kamal Haasan has been busy hosting the fourth season of Bigg Boss Tamil. In the weekend episode, the legendary actor happened to speak of the greatness of the Telugu language while talking with a contestant.
True to his style, the thinking actor broke into the classic verse 'Jagannatha ratha chakralu' from Sri Sri's magnum opus 'Maha Prasthanam'. He apparently learned it by heart during the making of 'Aakali Rajyam' ('Varumayin Niram Sivappu' in Tamil), considered one of the greatest films in Kamal's career. From how he mouthed the verse, it can be said that the 'Indian 2' actor is still in love with Telugu.
Kamal's diction and fluency must have stunned the inmates and viewers. The actor has mostly been given a dubbing voice by the late SP Balasubrahmanyam in the Telugu version of his Tamil movies. But he knows functional Telugu.
He will be doing a thriller titled 'Vikram' with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Its title announcement teaser was out recently.
