Ulaganayagam Kamal Haasan is now shooting for 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar. The entire shooting of the magnum opus will be wrapped up within a few months. Meanwhile, Kamal is all set to start his next biggie with legendary maker Mani Ratnam post the completion of Indian 2.

Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam's reunion was officially announced by Lyca Productions last year. The duo, which delivered the cult classic 'Nayakan', is coming together for a project after nearly 36 years. Earlier, reports broke out that Nayanthara is in talks for the female lead and it was followed by a buzz saying that Trisha is likely to play the role.

Now, reliable sources have confirmed that those actresses couldn't be a part of 'KH234'. As per the latest reports, Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is now considered by the makers to play the leading lady in Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam's biggie which will have music by Isai Puyal AR Rahman. However, we have to wait for an official confirmation regarding the female lead.
