Kamal Haasan loses three key members to rival party

Kamal Haasan entered active politics in February 2018 and within a year faced the parliamentary elections and came third place in most of the constituencies even though his party the Makkal Neethi Maiam did not win even one.seat.  The legendary actor, however, shared his happiness that considering the fact his party did not pay any cash for votes the people have given them a highly positive verdict.

The Makkal Neethi Maiam has experienced a major setback today as three key members Krishnagiri Shri Karunya, Chidambaram Ravi and Arakonam Rajendran all of whom contested the Lok Sabha Elections have joined the BJP in the presence of veteran leader Pon Radhakrishnan.

At a time when the 60th year of Kamal Haasan in the film industry is going to have grand celebrations on November 7th, 8th and the 17th, the loss in the political arena has occurred.  But political analysts feel that Kamal has always taken ups and downs in his stride over the years and he will continue to move forward.
