Lokesh Kanagaraj's mass action thriller 'Vikram', starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, is a stunning sixer and the film has attained the blockbuster status. From the critical acclaim to the box office records, the movie has hit it right out of the park. It has grossed more than Rs 200 crores in 5 days.
The duration of Vikram's theatrical cut is around 2 hours and 57 minutes (177 mins) and still, the film ensured a splendid theatre experience. As per the latest reports, it has been learnt that Vikram had a runtime of around 4 hours when it was on the editing table for the final cut. Sources say that the makers will unveil the deleted scenes for the fans real soon.
Earlier, there were reports that Vikram features a young look of Kamal in specific portions and the team had used the de-ageing technology for those scenes. It is being reported that those sequences were trimmed in the final cut and they will be revealed in time for the cinema enthusiasts. Produced by RKFI, Kamal Haasan is very happy about the film's success.
Suriya has essayed a special cameo in 'Vikram' and his Rolex character will be the main antagonist against Kamal Haasan in the sequel of the movie. With this movie, Lokesh has established his cinematic universe and we will witness more films based on the characters in 'Kaithi' and 'Vikram'. Anirudh has scored music for the movie which has cinematography by Girish Gangadharan.
