Kamal Haasan laughs after Bigg Boss inmate says he molested women

In a controversial turn, the third season of Bigg Boss-Tamil is in the news for a wrong reason. In the latest episode of the reality show, an inmate named Saravanan (who is an actor) said that he used to enter city buses just to grope and touch women inappropriately.
Kamal Haasan, the host, was expected to chide him. Instead, he took it lightly even as the audience in the studio laughed and clapped. The actor-politician happened to quote a line from his movie 'Guna' in a lighter vein after this.
For obvious reasons, this hasn't gone down well with sections of social media users, who are of the view that the contestant gloated about molesting women. "A Tamil channel aired a man proudly proclaiming he used the Public Bus Transport system to molest/grope women - to cheers from the audience. And this is a joke. To the audience. To the women clapping. To the molester. Damn," said singer Chinmayi Sripaada on Twitter.
