Kamal Haasan one of the greatest actors ever in Tamil cinema has made a strong comeback with his latest outing 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The 67 year old legend is pulling crowds like bees to honey in theaters with family audiences of all ages celebrating the film.
Kamal is known to create landmarks in his films with his memorable scenes shot there. For example in 'Punnagai Mannan' the rock from which he and Rekha will jump to commit suicide is to this day called by the movie name in Hogenakkal. Similarly the cave in which Kamal as 'Guna' will keep and tend his lady love Abhirami is known as the Guna cave in Kodaikanal.
Similarly in 'Vikram' the hero played by Kamal will rescue his team member Narain from an underground tunnel amidst gunfires. They will then escape through an exit that will be inside a movie hall Vettri. The popular theatre located at Chrompet, Chennai has now become a hotspot for the fans of the movie.
The management has put up a poster at the place where the tunnel lid is pointing where they escaped. Fans who visit the theatre to watch 'Vikram' form a que to take selfies of the spot which has now become a landmark much like the Guna cave.
