On Republic Day, Kamal Haasan joins the people's media

Actor Kamal Haasan has finally joined the Twitter space on the 66th Republic Day of India. The veteran first tweet praises India's freedom struggle and is accompanied by video of the multi-faceted star's rendition of the Indian National Anthem,

Within hours after his entry the Ulaganayagan has got over 12,000 followers in Twitter and he has followed 13 Twitter accounts, including that of his daughter and actress Shruthi Haasan. actress Gauthami and noted writer Jeyamohan.

The good news for the lakhs and lakhs of fans and admirers of the legend is that he can expected to me much more accessible to all of us.
