Actor Kamal Haasan who had been occupied with the Lok Sabha elections and Bigg Boss 3 commitments last year, had started shooting for his most expected movie Indian 2, from the end of 2019, after the movie was initially launched in January 2019 and few scenes were shot.

Indian 2 team had shot several schedules in Rajasthan and Telangana, and after this, Kamal Haasan had to take a break from the shoot due to a surgery, and now it has been said that the actor will be resuming shoot from February. The team will be begin shooting in EVP film city for a 35 days schedule.

This schedule is also said to have scenes for Priya Bhavani Shankar, who is said to be playing the role played by Suganya in Indian. Produced by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 directed by Shankar also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek, Bobby Simha and has music by Anirudh.
