Bollywood and South actor Kamal Haasan recently revealed the reason of him joining social site Twitter. He told a leading television news channel that, "He has never had his freedom while making films, No Indian filmmaker has had full freedom of speech as compared to the rest of the world. Hence, I must complain that I've never had my freedom, I'm yet to see my full freedom." He also added saying, "Time divides freedom and anarchy. Freedom should come with Lakshman Rekha. Freedom will be constant. Freedom is like your body; you have to feed it, guard it and take care of it."
When media asked him the reason of joining Twitter, he said - "Mahatma Gandhi influenced me to be on social media. You can't fear criticism or not talk at all. He was the man who rose up to speak in times when it was dangerous to speak. Gandhi ji is a great hero and I wish we had many more of him. It needs lot of will, courage to be what he is. He is an inimitable model."
On the career front, Kamal Haasan will soon be seen in three movies this year 'Thalaivan Irukkindran', 'Vishwaroopam 2' and 'Ore Iravu'. He was the only Indian star who on joining Twitter received 30, 000 followers in 24 hours.
