Massive! Two pan Indian Kamal Haasan films to clash on Pongal 2024?

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan made one of the most emphatic comebacks in Indian cinema history through 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj last year. The film went on to collect more than four hundred crores worldwide and proved that the thespian at 67 is still in the reckoning.
Right now Kamal is shooting for Shankar's 'Indian 2' which will be wrapped up in a couple of weeks time. Red Giant Movies and Lyca Productions who are jointly bankrolling are reportedly planning to bring the much awaited blockbuster sequel to the screens worldwide on Pongal 2024.
Now there is another buzz that Kamal has signed on to play the main villain in Prabhas's scifi action film 'Project K' directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Ashwini Dutt. The film also has other big names attached namely Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. Now this biggie too has alreadly locked the January 12th 2024 release date.
Sources say that Kamal will begin shooting for 'Project K' in mid July to mid August and that he charged the staggering rupees one hundred and fifty crores for the twenty odd days call sheet. If this becomes official then two of Kamal's biggest films to date will release on the same day worldwide and lock horns. Lets wait and watch how this play out.
