As the shooting of Kamal Haasan’s much-awaited Indian 2 commences today, fans have been treated to a series of posters of the movie, which were released in the last few days. Shankar, who directed the 1996 super-hit movie Indian, is directing its sequel as well.

 In the three posters of the film that have been released so far, a peculiar detail has been observed, as Kamal Haasan’s left eye has been hidden in all of the posters. It doesn’t seem like a coincidence, hence a story revolving around the same is anticipated. Also, a portion of the missing scenes of the middle-aged Senapathy’s life which was not shown in the prequel will supposedly appear in the second part.

Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 also stars Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. Simbu, who was supposed to do a role in the movie, has been replaced by Siddharth, according to reports. Anirudh will be composing the soundtrack of the film, while Ravi Varma will be handling the camera. An official announcement of the complete cast and crew is yet to be made.
