Kamal Haasan is currently touring the Kongu region and meeting the people directly to learn about the problems faced.  Judging by the crowds thronging during his meetings and processions it looks like the Ulaganayagan is surely making inroads in his political foray.

At this juncture we have an update regarding Kamal Haasan's next magnum opus 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar.  Set work is going to begin next week at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad where major portions of the film will be shot.  There is also a Thailand schedule planned after that.  Filming will begin in mid April and is expected to be completed in one go.  

'Indian 2' is expected to be a political thriller with a contemporary twist and Nayanthara is expected to be on board as the heroine, Ajay Devgan as the antagonist, Jayamohan penning the dialogues, T. Muthuraj taking care of production design and Anirudh the music score.  However Shankar and Lyca Productions will make an official announcement once all the formalities are complete.
