Reports have just come in that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has been hospitalized suddenly to the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Porur, Chennai. The legendary star himself has shared on social media about his health.

Kamal who was in the USA last week to launch his clothing brand has written in Tamil " After I returned from the states I had mild cough and when I went for tests it is learned that I am COVID 19 positive. I have isolated myself in the hospital. It is time to realize that the pandemic is not over yet and please be careful."

Kamal who shot for the weeked episodes of 'Bigg Boss 5' last week was scheduled to join the sets of 'Vikram' in Coimbatore. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj had planned to shoot scenes involving all the three heroes Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. It is still unknown if scenes not involving the Ulaganayagan will continue to be filmed or there will be a postponement.
