Is Kamal Haasan & H Vinoth’s ‘KH 233’ dropped? – Here’s what we know

It is well known that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan united with director H Vinoth for one of his upcoming films, tentatively called ‘KH 233’. This is the maiden collaboration of this combo and is bankrolled by Raaj Kamal Films International. The movie is said to be an action thriller.

However, ‘KH 233’ is said to be shelved even before the shooting starts. Reports broke out that Vinoth narrated a cop story to Kamal Haasan but the actor isn’t interested in it as he has done police roles many times. The buzz is that H Vinoth is joining with Karthi again for the sequel of ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’. ‘Theeran 2’ is likely to start in Summer.

Notably, these speculations have been doing rounds for a while now. As per a report from TOI, ‘KH 233’ is not dropped and is only delayed. The film will commence after Kamal Haasan completes ‘Indian 2 & 3’, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and ‘Thug Life’. The film is expected to be set against the backdrop of the military. We have to wait for an official word regarding this project.
