Kamal Haasan to play a female character after 15 years?

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has inspired Indian cinema for the past five decades by being the first one to bring in innovation not only to his films but acting too. He is one of the very few actors in the country to pull off a full length female character in the cult classic 'Avvai Shanmughi' (1996) directed by K.S. Ravikumar.
Kamal also stunned audiences by playing a wizened diminutive old lady in the blockbuster hit 'Dasavatharam' released in 2008. Now according to reports, the multiple award winning actor has donned a female getup in the upcoming 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar. Sources say that when the 68 year old innovator appeared as a lady on the sets the cast and crew were shocked by the perfection in the makeup.
Kamal who is in the USA right now will return home in a few weeks time and will begin shooting for his next 'KH 233' directed by H. Vinoth. He will also be back as host for 'Bigg Boss Tamil 7' set to be aired on Vijay TV and Disney Plus Hotstar from the first week of October.
