In 1990, Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan had acted in the movie Michael Madana Kama Rajan directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, and the movie which had Kamal in four roles is still being celebrated by movie lovers all over the world.
Yesterday was the birth anniversary of legendary playwright and dialogue writer Crazy Mohan who penned dialogues for Michael Madana Kama Rajan, and in a virtual tribute event for Crazy Mohan yesterday, Kamal shared some interesting trivia about the movie.
Kamal Haasan revealed that himself and crazy Mohan were fans of Oscar Wilde and PG Wodehouse, and Michael Madana Kama Rajan originated from "The importance of being earnest". He added that Aboorva Sagotharargal was like a rehearsal for Michael Madana Kama Rajan and revealed that Nagesh wanted to do the character of the stealing grandmother played by SN Lakshmi and not Avinashi role. The whole cast worked as a team to get the shot perfect in the climax, and worked in harmony, said Kamal, about the most talked about climax.
