Entire Kollywood is high on 'Vikram' fever as the film is all set to storm the screens on June 3. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the action thriller stars Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil with Suriya appearing in a cameo role.

With just a week for the theatrical release, the team has released the gut-wrenching 'Porkanda Singam' lyrical video today. The song features Kamal Haasan and an infant. It is safe to say that the baby character and this song will play a crucial portion in the movie. Composed by Anirudh, Ravi G has recited the emotional number with lyrics by Vishnu Edavan.

'Vikram' is said to be a spin-off based on Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram', which was released in 1986. This film serves as a sequel to the 1986 one and Kamal has revealed that Suriya's role will lead the story to part 3. The ensemble cast of the movie includes Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Santhana Bharathi, Swashista Krishnan, VJ Mynaa and Shivani.
