Kamal Haasan's vital contribution for Chennai Rain Relief

Many actors across the country have been generously donating money for the relief and rehabilitation operations of Chennai city and its people affected by severe rains and flood last week.

The latest to join the list is Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. The legendary actor has donated Rs.15 Lakhs towards the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund to support the government's efforts to bring back normalcy in Chennai.

The cheque signed by Kamal was handed over to Nadigar Sangam Treasurer Karthi by the former's manager Moorthi.

Meanwhile the Chennai chapter of Kamal Haasan Narpani Iyakkam known for conducting many welfare activities for the public has organised a free Medical camps in Chintadripet, Mylapore, Perambur, Saidapet and Ramapuram. to be conducted today and tomorrow (11 & 12 December, 2015).
