After surgery and weeks of bed rest in hospital , actor Kamal Haasan has been discharged from the hospital and reached home by 7 am this morning. This definitely make it a morning of solace for the millions of Kamal fans and film buffs who were anxious about his health status.

The multi-talented actor slipped down from the steps at his Alwarpet home a few weeks back, which resulted in a fracture on his leg. He underwent surgery on the same day and has been staying at the hospital under the doctor's care since then. It is rumored that the versatile star had to undergo another surgery on the same location due to a sudden stroke of excessive pain, last week.

A couple of days back the 'Viswaroopam' actor updated that he could get up and walk with the support of two people. Yesterday it was said that the actor will be discharged soon and today it has finally happened

Kamal will have to take complete rest for several weeks as advised by doctors and he can be expected to resume shooting for his upcoming film 'Sabaash Naidu' only in September.
