It is a known fact that Kamal Haasan, one of the biggest actors of Indian cinema, is never afraid to do experiments and always opts for daring attempts. Now, Ulaganayagan is set to astonish the fans again with 'Indian 2', a sequel to his 1996 vigilante blockbuster. Both parts are directed by renowned hitmaker Shankar.

Kamal and Shankar wrapped up a power-packed schedule in South Africa a couple of weeks ago in April. The maker shared a BTS photo of himself with Kamal and stated that they will reunite for the next schedule in May. Now, Indiaglitz has learnt that the Indian 2 shooting will resume with a new schedule on May 24th in Chennai.

According to sources, a grand set has been erected in Prasad Lab, Chennai for the filming of Indian 2. As Shankar stated earlier, the shoot for the talkie portions will be completed by June. The VFX and post-production works will commence after that. The team is planning a grand release for the film on Pongal 2024.
