We all know that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is now busy shooting for 'Indian 2'. The biggie directed by Shankar is a sequel to the 1996 vigilante blockbuster. After a hiatus, the makers resumed filming last year. Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies teamed up to fund the project.
The team shot the film in exhilarating locales including Chennai, South Africa and many places. According to the sources, the latest buzz is that the ongoing Chennai schedule of Indian 2 is wrapped up now. This leg was filmed in a grand set. The makers shot some important sequences for day and night.
Reportedly, Kamal Haasan is spending 6 hours daily on the make-up. The next schedule is expected to begin in 15 days. The team will move to Los Angeles for the new 10-day schedule in June month. The talkie portions are likely to be completed in June and the first single will be released soon. The team is planning to release Indian 2 on Pongal 2024.
