We all know that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and ace director Shankar are working together on 'Indian 2', which is a sequel to the duo's two-decade-old blockbuster. The actor will reprise the iconic 'Senapathi' role, the freedom fighter and vigilante hunted by the authorities.

As per sources, Kamal Haasan was dubbed for his portions in the film earlier. Now, fresh reports suggest that actor Siddharth has started dubbing for 'Indian 2'. Also, the patchwork shoot is going on in parallel. We hear that the makers are planning to wrap up the entire movie by the end of this month as he stated earlier in a media interaction.

Indian 2 is touted to be the most expensive film in Kamal Haasan's career and the team is aiming to release the much-awaited flick on Pongal 2024. The star cast also includes Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani, Guru Somasundaram, Priya Bhavani Shankar and others with the late actors Vivek, Nedumudi Venu and Manobala.

Anirudh Ravichander is composing the musical score for Indian 2 with cinematography by Rathnavelu, art direction by Muthuraj and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
