Kamal Haasan has pulled off a surprise by accepting the invite of Arnab Goswami, the famous ex-Editor-in-Chief of Times Now, to lend his voice for the latter's new channel Republic.
"Deeply grateful to the iconic and legendary @ikamalhaasan for being the voice of Republic TV for our channel launch!" Arnab has tweeted.
Now, Arnab is know for his so-called pro-Right Wing positions, whereas Kamal is allegedly politically neutral or pro-Dravidian. Some times, he tends to take anti-Right Wing positions, and his directorial 'Hey Ram' is slammed by Hindutva-vadis for "villainising the Sangh Parivar". Already, those who complain about his recent comments on Mahabharatha are unhappy with Arnab's decision to approach Kamal.
