As we all know Thala Ajith will start shooting for his 57th film directed by Siva and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films banner. Kajal Aggarwal is almost confirmed to play the female lead in this film in which Ajith reportedly plays and Interpol officer.

Now we learn that there is scope for another prominent female character in the film and for this role Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara Haasan is in talks with the makers.

Akshara has earlier acted in the lead role in the Bollywood film 'Shamitabh' with Dhanush and Amitabh Bachchan. Akshara's ambition is to become a director and she has worked as Assistant director in a few films. She is also working as an AD in her father's 'Sabash Naidu'.

However sources say that Akshara may take up the offer to act in 'AK 57' owing to Ajith's presence. It is worth noting that Akshara's elder sister Shruti Haasan played the female lead in Ajith and Siva's previous film 'Vedalam' which turned out to be a super hit.
