After a brief hiatus Kamal Haasan is back throwing his strong voice about the current state of affairs in Tamil Nadu. In an interview to a leading Tamil weekly Kamal this time has severely criticized the voters of R.K. Nagar who allegedly sold their votes for cash to TTV Dinakaran, the ruling ADMK and even the DMK and others.
Kamal in his own style has stated that the RK Nagar people should be ashamed of turning into beggars and that too to a looter. He is of the opinion that celebrating the victory of the so called messiah (may refer to TTV Dinakaran) is the most shameless act. According to the Ulaganayagan TN was in better hands with the British who may have plundered the riches of the country but left behind roads and railways.
Kamal however concludes that the people accepted money due to their poverty but the tool to eradicate the evil is the vote which they should not have sold. He lamented that the huge money invested to buy votes could have been used to eradicate poverty of the people.
