Kamal Haasan announced 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar a few months back on 'Bigg Boss' show and since then there have been a major change of the producer Dil Raju opting out and Lyca Productions taking over.

It was said that the shooting of 'Indian 2' would begin in the summer but now Kamal has reportedly committed to host 'Bigg Boss' season two which is expected to go on air on June 22nd. and end sometime in September.  Some reports suggest that this could cause a postponement to the start of the mega sequel but others are of the opinion that Kamal is required to shoot for the reality show only for two days in a week and he could devote the rest of the days for Shankar.  A clear picture will emerge only after the Kollywood strike ends on this front.
