The TFPC had organised the grand two day musical event Ilayaraja 75, celebrating the 75th birthday of the legendary composer and also to honour him on his various achievements and accomplishments in the industry spanning more than four decades.

While the highlight of the first day happened to be Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman performing Maestro Ilaiyaraja's songs besides other performances, the second day was even more special thanks to the striking presence of top names of kollywood, Ulaga nayagan Kamal Haasan and superstar Rajinikanth.

Kamal Haasan, who shares a very special bond with Isaignani Ilayaraja, came along with his daughter Shruti Haasan, and together they performed some hit numbers like Ninaivo Oru paravai from Sigappu Rojakkal, Ram Ram from Hey Ram and Onna Vida from Virumandi and enthralled audience. Besides Kamal also sang Kanmani Anbodu from Guna and treated audience with his performance.
