Actor and director Raghava Lawrence had recently got into trouble due to his speech in the audio launch of Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The statements made by Lawrence were considered to be offensive and going against Kamal Haasan.

After this, Lawrence had clarified that the statements made by him were about his state of mind during his childhood, and that he has never thought bad of Kamal Haasan. He also revealed that he maintains a good rapport with the actor and was also offered a role in Thalaivan Irukkindraan.

Today, Lawrence has met Kamal Haasan, who has recovered from his surgery, and gave his explanation and clarified on what happened during the event. Lawrence has said that Kamal Haasan understood Lawrence's clarification and spoke to him in a warm manner, and thanked the actor.
