Kamal Haasan and Ajith fans - At last, some real hope

Good news for Kamal Haasan and Ajith fans.

The former's Vettaiyadu Vilaiyaadu and Ajith's God Father lying in the cans for a long time in spite of their completion may finally hit the screens on 11 August.

Buzz is that the timely intervention of the newly-elected Tamil Film Producers Council has helped the producers of these solve all pending issues proving to be a handicap for its release.

The new team led by its president Rama Narayanan had detailed meetings with the producers, distributors and has worked out a deal between them.

It is said that these two films would hit the screens on 11 August.

Meanwhile efforts are also on to get films like Srikanth's Sathurangam and Vijayakanth's Perarasu get released at the earliest.

Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu features Kamal Haasan and Jyothika in the lead roles and is directed by Gowtham Menon, while K S Ravikumar directs God Father, featuring Ajith in three different roles.
