Amid preparations to release his Thoongavanam` for the Deepavali festival, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has started the pre-production work on his next Tamil-Telugu bilingual film. The film will mark the comeback of the yesteryear heroine Amala Akkineni while the veteran Bollywood actress Zarina Wahab and an young heroine will also act in the yet to be titled film.

Now have learnt who will be directing this film before the official announcement on the project.

In an exclusive interview to Indiaglitz Thoongavanam` director Rajesh.M.Selva has confirmed that his mentor`s next film will be directed by T.K.Rajeev Kumar who had earlier worked with Kamal for the critically acclaimed Malayalam thriller film Chanakyan`. Rajesh also revealed that he will be directing another film with Kamal Haasan in the lead role after the legendary actor finishes Rajeev Kumar`s film.
